Euro 2024 has kept us all entertained for the past four weeks, but with the tournament drawing to a close, we ran the rule over the BBC and ITV pundits who have been on show
With just one match of Euro 2024 remaining, the festival of football which has dominated the majority of the nation's television screens this summer is drawing to a close.
On a happier note, England will feature in said finale after booking their spot in Berlin with a dramatic win over the Netherlands. They will face Spain, the tournament's standout team, for the coveted Henri Delaunay Trophy.
As always, the tournament has been co-broadcast on these shores by the BBC and ITV, and we've been spoilt for choice: both have provided a number of excellent pundits to chew the fat of the last few weeks.
With the end of the Euros now in sight, Mirror Football runs the rule over the pundits who have kept us all entertained over the past month...
1. Ian Wright
Maybe the nation's unofficial favourite pundit, 'Wrighty' has been on great form for ITV. Some good analysis, great humour and remarkable strength to both continue with his work and pay tribute to his close friend, Kevin Campbell, after his sad passing.
2. Cesc Fabregas
Premier League fans will know just how good a pundit Cesc Fabregas is from his previous outings on Sky Sports, so it should come as no surprise he tops this list. His analysis on England and their Phil Foden dilemma was top drawer.
3. Thomas Frank
Thomas Frank has been among the very best to feature on any channel during the tournament. A real coup for the BBC who provided some great insight before heading back to England. He's been missed.
4. Joe Hart
Joe Hart spoke really well on a number of occasions on the BBC. With his playing days now over, here's hoping we see more of him on our television screens next year. The surprise package of the tournament.
5. Roy Keane
You know what you're going to get with Roy Keane. Didn't disappoint in Germany and provided some balance on England's struggles as a neutral.
6. Alan Shearer
Juggling his time between the studio and the commentary booth, Alan Shearer is one of the BBC's top pundits and has been good value throughout the tournament in Germany. Wasn't afraid to stick the boot in when necessary on England.
7. Wayne Rooney
Another who had to leave the tournament early due to his commitments at Plymouth Argyle, Wayne Rooney was good value on the BBC. A shame he didn't get to do any England games.
8. Karen Carney
Karen Carney has grown into an excellent pundit at Sky and was another big plus for ITV throughout the tournament. Another that we'll hopefully see plenty more of next season and beyond.
9. Ange Postecoglou
Ange Postecoglou was regarded as a major coup for ITV before the tournament and the Tottenham boss didn't disappoint. Provided some really good nuanced analysis.
10. Micah Richards
Does anyone really not like Big Meeks? Provided some much-needed humour during the dark days of the England group phase but also some hard-hitting comments. Another big plus for the BBC.
11. Gary Neville
Sky Sports' crown jewel has been a staple of ITV's tournament coverage for years now and spoke well on the England team. Unlucky not to place higher for his fantastic England goal reactions alone.
12. Frank Lampard
Frank Lampard is another who held his own in a star-studded line-up on the BBC. Was decent on dissecting the issues around England early in the tournament.
13. Graeme Souness
Graeme Souness was on fine form on the opening night of the tournament for ITV. Solid. Probably deserved to be higher but perhaps overshadowed by some fine individual performances from others.
14. Danny Rohl
Danny Rohl came across very, very well during his brief stint on ITV at the tournament. Pre-season commitments meant he also left the Euros early. Probably would have ranked higher if not.
15. David Moyes
David Moyes is always insightful and he didn't disappoint on the BBC. Will be good to see him back in the dugout somewhere next year.
16. Rachel Corsie
Like Moyes, Rachel Corsie brought a lot to the BBC's coverage of Scotland. Another who could have placed higher if around longer.
17. Rio Ferdinand
Rio Ferdinand has been a staple at these tournaments for years and is a safe pair of hands. Like others, was outshone by other members of a packed BBC roster.
18. Thomas Hitzelsperger
Thomas Hitzelsperger was polished for the BBC. Again, didn't do anything wrong but didn't stand out as much as others from the same channel.
19. Conor Coady
Conor Coady was part of the England squad at the last World Cup and offered some good insight on the BBC.

20. Gaizka Mendieta
Gaizka Mendieta was decent for ITV but automatically falls down the list for being a late arrival.
21. James McFadden
Another pundit who hasn't done anything wrong as part of the BBC's coverage of the tournament. Simply outshone by others.
22. Eni Aluko
Eni Aluko has been criticsed in the past but she held her own while working on ITV alongside bigger names.
23. Joleon Lescott
Joleon Lescott was another steady pair of hands for ITV. With both channels so stacked, others stood out ahead of him.
24. Ashley Williams
A regular for the BBC, Ashley Williams' ranking is again more driven by the performances of others rather than anything he's done wrong. Was solid on the panel.
25. Jose Fonte
It's nothing personal, Jose Fonte - somebody had to be in this spot. I actually think we've been relatively spoiled for choice when it comes to pundits during Euro 2024. Others with more air-time get in higher.
