She was active in the Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church, past president and treasurer of the church's Taylor Class. a member of the church choir, Vesta Rebekah Lodge 134, the Past Noble Grand's Association of Erie County and the Past District Deputy President's Association of Erie County. She was also a member of Abigail Fillmore Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Ullman, specialist in pulmonary medicine, dies at 84 A memorial service for Dr. Robert A. Ullman. a former Buffalo physician and teacher who practiced here for 36 years, was held Tuesday in Phoenix, his home since 1972. Ullman died there last Saturday (Dec.
22, 1990) after a long illness. He was 84. During his years in Buffalo, Ullman, known as Dr. Bob, specialized in pulmonary medicine and continued that specialty in Phoenix, where he was on the staffs of the Maricopa County and Veterans Administration hospitals. In his memory, his family is sponsoring a center where patients and nurses will be trained to care for persons with lung ailments.
Ullman emulated his father, Julius, who practiced medicine and was a professor at the University at Buffalo Medical School. Ullman graduated from Hutchinson Technical High School in 1927 and the University at Buffalo Medical School in 1931. For 20 of the 36 years he practiced here, Ullman was on the staff of the Erie County Chest Clinic and was a life fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. A staff member of Buffalo General, Kenmore Mercy and the Veterans Administration hospitals, Ullman was an assistant professor of clinical services at the University at Buffalo student health service unit. During World War II, Ullman enlisted in the Army and was assigned to the military unit at Buffalo General Hospital.
Ullman was a former president of Buffalo's Maimonides and Aesculapian clubs and was a contributing author to "Buffalo Physician." He was an enthusiastic golfer and bridge player and also a painter. Surviving are a daughter, Peggy Cohen, Williamsville; a son, James, Phoenix; a sister, Edna Heymann, and six grandchildren. Sister Mary Paschasia Mocny, educator A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister Mary Paschasia Mocny, a member of the Felician Sisters for 70 years, will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in the Villa Maria Convent Chapel, 600 Doat St. Burial will be in St.
Stanislaus Cemetery, Cheektowaga. Sister Mocny, 86, died Thursday (Dec. 27, 1990) in the Erie County Medical Center after a brief illness. A native of Buffalo, the former Martha Mocny entered the Buffalo Province of Felician Sisters in 1920 and professed her final vows in 1928. A graduate of Canisius College, Sister Mocny was active as an educator in the dioceses of Buffalo and Erie, for 49 years.
She held dual positions of convent superior and school principal at St. Josaphat, Cheektowaga, from 1941 to 1947; Most Precious Blood, Angola, from 1947 to 1950; Holy Cross, Buffalo, from 1955 to 1961, and St. Stanislaus, Buffalo, from 1962 to 1968. She also taught at Assumption, St. Adalbert and St.
Valentine schools, Buffalo; SS. Peter and Paul, Depew; Queen of All Saints and St. Hyacinth, Lackawanna; Holy Spirit, North Collins, and Our Lady of Czestochowa, North Tonawanda. After retiring from teaching, she served from 1972 to 1978 as superior at the Felician Residence, a community for retired sisters at St. Stanislaus Convent in Buffalo.
She also served as superior at Villa Angela Convent in Elma from 1981 to 1984. She was elected by her sisters to serve as a delegate to the Provincial Chapters in 1967 and 1975. From 1986 until her death, she was a member of St. Francis Residence, the retirement community at Villa Maria. Howard M.

Petersburg. where he had lived for several years. Born in Oil City, Wagner served in the Army's Persian Gulf Command during World War Il. After the war, he worked for 29 years as a foreman for the Fleischmann Service Corp. of Buffalo, which built many area gas stations and other facilities for oil companies.
He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in St. Petersburg. and the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, the former Kathryn P.
Anderson; three daughters, Kristine A. Terrana of St. Petersburg, Marcia M. Nemmer of Hamburg and Cynthia A. De Plato of Elma; three sons.

Mrs. Brady was born in Niagara Falls and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. The former Lottie Bednarski was a paper folder for Gilman Fanfold Co. for 10 years. She also worked for 15 years as a cook at her uncle's Niagara Falls restaurant, Frank's.
